at Flying Point Campground is easy. You beyond doubt have to go to Bradbury Mountain State Park while you're here at Flying Point Campground; Brickyard Cove is nearby and always magnificent to explore. This campground is so great. Lost Valley is a good local ski area.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Flying Point Campground a wet site; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and September on the other hand is the driest. At Flying Point Campground during the summer months highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in
 
the 60's. During the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Flying Point Campground are in the 10's. Drift down the rapids of Cathance River in a kayak; a trip to Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
Paddling on Royal River is so much fun, and Sister Island Ledge is also a fine place to look at. So many local attractions and such an incredible array of things to do are fine causes to come. Take a little journey to Little River since you're here at Flying Point Campground, and Mere Creek Golf Course is a great golf course nearby.
If you are in Maine during camping season, you ought to go camping.
