  There's so much to do at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground including hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. Maine has a lot of outdoors activities. This location, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Black Brook, and Mt. Blue State Park is worth taking a look at.

All through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground with overnight lows in the 50's. Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a wonderful camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the White Mountains. So many entertaining things to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. If you come at the right time of year, Swift River offers some great whitewater; do take a hike on the Brook Trail. Several people stay here in order to be right next door to Rangeley Lake State Park.
This campground is a perfect place to take a look at. Have a good hiking adventure along the Bemis Stream Trail, and there are plenty of people from Roxbury here. So much entertaining stuff in close proximity to Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground, and loads of folks like to come here to get away.
