Scores of fun is at this campground. Going to Wellington State Beach close to Cold River is a brilliant thing to do. And that's not everything there is to do here in the White Mountains. great time for sure. Golf can be played at Lake View Golf Club; the Pasture Trail offers hiking at its best. Among the things you can do near Cold River are swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen.
| The great local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back many times. This campground has so much. Lochmere Golf & Country Club is a golf course right next door to Cold River, and the slopes of Gunstock are so inviting noone can resist. The scenery at Avery Dam in the vicinity of Cold River is beautiful; there's a fine forest called Opechee Bay Tract. days of summer here at Cold River, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Cold River fall into
the 0's. So many exciting things to do at Cold River, so little time. Glide down the rapids of Merrimack River in a kayak; why not take a refreshing hike along the Ridge Trail. Cold River is positioned in the White Mountains. Scores of people stay here to be right next door
to Endicott Park Beach. Finally, camping time is here again; Cold River is a magnificent local campground if you happen to be in Maine. So many entertaining things in the White Mountains, just mind-blowing. Take a little visit to Jewett Brook if you're here at Cold River,
and perfect hiking is available along the Rattlesnake Trail. The folks who look after the campground and all the entertaining things to do will make you feel great. Cold River is a very popular old favorite campground among campers from Belmont. Just can't get enough of
the White Mountains. If you're here at Cold River, do take a spree to Dixon Point, and Cold River is right by the Col Trail. You're possibly addicted to lakes, Opechee Bay Reservoir is one of those close by, and there's pleasant hiking along the Butterworth Trail. All the water
falling down from the sky makes Cold River a wet place; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
