  The nice people who manage this site and the glorious loads of fun activities beat anything. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are magnificent reasons to come. Chewonki Campground is a pretty wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through November; February is the month with the least moisture.
Loads of folks pick this campground for the purpose of being in the neighborhood of Reid State Park.
A campground like this is too nice to miss. Chewonki Campground is not the only site nearby,
    Hilton Pond is a nearby lake, and Seal Rock is another good location to stop at nearby. Hilton Pond Dam is not far at all from Chewonki Campground; you'll meet a lot of people from Wiscasset here.
Ward Brook is near Chewonki Campground and is always a bliss to stop by, and
you can go for a hike on the Hockomock Nature Trail. There's so much to do at Chewonki Campground including fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's not possible to get bored. Glide down the rapids of Sheepscot River in a kayak; unsurprisingly, everyone loves Peacock Beach State Park.
Yeah, come here to Chewonki Campground for a wonderful time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Damariscotta River, and Reid State Park is a perfect site. There are some fine whitewater spots on Pemaquid River; a visit to Pottle Cove is always a magnificent
 
idea. While stopping by this area in Maine it's a nice idea to go camping too.
Chewonki Campground is a campground that is incredibly prized by folks from Wiscasset. It's just not possible to run out of amusing stuff to do near Chewonki Campground; it is a very nice campground. This is a nice campground. From Chewonki Campground you get a wonderful sight of Cushman Hill.
High temperatures at Chewonki Campground during the summertime are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Chewonki Campground temperatures fall to the 0's. You've been indoors for too much time; Chewonki Campground in Maine is a really nice site to spend some time.
