Always check the situation prior to departure kayak paddling as kayak paddling is a dangerous pursuit. Beaver Creek flows through this area; you have to explore Beaver Cove when you're here. The Big Spencer Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Lakes? Sure, First Roach Pond is in the neighborhood. This is such a fun site for a campground. You're sure to bump into some friendly people from Greenville here; why not take a refreshing hike along the Gulf Hagas Trail. A pleasant place like Lily Bay State Park right next door to  
Casey's Spencer Bay Campground is too fine to leave out, and for all you boaters, East Cove Marina is a splendid marina around here.
