Loads of folks select this campground for the purpose of being in close proximity to Reid State Park. A great place like Reid State Park close to Campers Cove is too delightful to leave out;
a golf course close by is Wawenock Country Club.
Pemaquid River is a pleasant whitewater spot close to Campers Cove, and a trip to Popham Beach State Park is a delightful idea.
If you get bored of Campers Cove, you could also take a look at close by Adams Pond, and at Campers
Cove you can see Kenniston Hill. It's just not possible to run out of cool things to do near Campers Cove; when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like a different person.
