site to visit. Lamoine State Park is a glorious place to take a look at, and obviously, all our national parks are delightful places to explore and Maine Acadian Culture is no exception.
This campground has everything. There's whitewater on Blue Hill Falls for all you adrenaline junkies. Lakes? Sure, Upper Hadlock Pond is around here. As if Camp Store wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Southwest Valley is a great site; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Deer Brook Trail.
Camp Store really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. A trip to Acadia National Park is worthwhile; why not explore Sargent Cove also if you're here. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Branch Lake Stream; going for a hike on the Grandgent Trail is always a fine adventure.
The personnel who's always there to help out and the delightful facilities will make you feel nice. Some people pick this campground to visit nearby Echo Lake Beach. Why not take a look at a swamp like Sunken Heath while you're here at Camp Store; lots of people from Northeast Harbor come here.
If you come at the right time of year, Union River offers some wonderful whitewater, and Norumbega Mountain is painless to spot from Camp Store. All the water falling down from the sky makes Camp Store a wet site; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is August.
What a place this is for outdoors people. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Hunters Beach, and the Norumbega Mountain Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by.
