Camp Seguin-tenting, Maine   This was great campground, but alas, it has been closed for a few years now. I think we camped there the last year they were open. We were very disappointed to find them out of business and even drove by once to really make sure they were closed. Says K. Hanson This was the best place on earth. My husband and I went back every year for a week on tranquility on the ocean. Crushed, I mean extremely disappointed to find out it had gone out of business. Nothing beats kicking back at Mile Beach, and an afternoon playing golf at Bath Country Club is always a pleasure. Camp Seguin-tenting is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There are so many amusing things close to Camp Seguin-tenting, and many people love to come here to get away. The caring operators of the campground and all the enjoyable things to do makes the visit here worthwhile. Camp Seguin-tenting is enormously well esteemed by the folks from Georgetown. If you crave a little side trip, try Blacksmithshop Ledge, and one of the governing features of the surroundings of Camp Seguin-tenting is Hall Hill. But wait,   there's more to do right next door to Camp Seguin-tenting. While you're here at Camp Seguin-tenting, you could also check out wonderful Winnegance Lake, and a journey to Reid State Park revives the spirit. Why not take a look at Robinhood Cove also since you're here, and the great people of Georgetown like to hang out nearby. All through the summer months at Camp Seguin-tenting temperatures are mostly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Camp Seguin-tenting drop into the 10's. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. If you come to this campground, you will have a nice time for sure. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cathance River, and Newtown Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Sheepscot River, and Popham Beach is a beach nearby that you can have a look at. Lots of folks stay at Camp Seguin-tenting to be near Reid State Park. This campground has so much entertaining stuff to offer. Get covered with water paddling on Damariscotta River; Popham Beach State Park is a magnificent place to go. Maine has a lot of outdoors activities. Such a good pick of attractions and so much to do will definitely have you coming back over and over.
