Camp Eaton, Maine   OVER CAMPEATON IS A GOOD CAMPGROUND ACCOMMODATING PEOPLE AND A GOOD LOCATION CLOSE TO THE BEACH HOW THE ELECTRICAL IS TO FAR FROM MANY CAMPSITES NEED VERY LONG EXTENSION CORDS AND POOR STORE AND NO LAUNDRY FACILITIES Says DEE Camp Eaton is close to Vaughan Woods Memorial State Park which is a charming spot; if you're visiting from York, you won't be the only one. Lakes are such calm sites, why not take a look at Briley Pond in close proximity to Camp Eaton; Banks Rock is in the vicinity, and is a good spot. There's such a great deal of things     to do at Camp Eaton including fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen. Camp Eaton is extremely popular with the folks from York. So many cool things in the neighborhood of Camp Eaton, simply unbelievable. Simpson Hill can be seen from Camp Eaton, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Great Works River. This campground is so stunning. If you come at the right time of year, Atlantic Ocean offers some great whitewater, and what would a site like Camp Eaton be without attention-grabbing close by features like Dover Bluff. Camp Eaton sees pretty high levels of rainfall; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. High temperatures at Camp Eaton throughout the   warm days of summer are in the 80's; the nighttime is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Camp Eaton. There's so many things to do in the vicinity of Camp Eaton, and lots of folks like to come here to get away. There's some flowing water close by, Little River is a stream you can go to while you're here, and Prebbles Point is in the vicinity and always fine to go to. There's whitewater on Little River for all you adrenaline people, and you undeniably must stop at Odiorne State Park since you're here. So many local attractions and the glorious variety of outdoors recreation are pleasant motives to come. Maine is a glorious place for outdoors folks. Famous Maine welcome and all the amusing things to do are in themselves motive enough to come here. This is in fact a tremendous campground. Bridges Swamp is an attention-grabbing swamp near Camp Eaton, and a day at Short Sands is time well spent. Beaches are tremendous; and Long Beach close to Camp Eaton is no exception. A lot of folks stay at this campground through their spree to Long Beach. Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, you've gotta get out, and Camp Eaton in Maine is exactly what you need.
