Nearby hiking trails are two, wonderland and Ship Harbor, the harbor trail is most likely referring to Ship Harbor trail.  There is also a very lengthy unofficial hiking trail just to the left before the top of the long wooden stairway behind the lighthouse.  Rangers usually toss some branches over the start of the trail to make it appear there is no trail there.  the Bass Harbor Lighthouse is about a 20 minute walk away.
