slopes of nearby Gunstock. We must all go camping for a couple of days every so often, and Basin Campground in Maine is just what you need. For the duration of the days of summer at Basin Campground highs are mostly in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the
| 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Basin Campground. The high level of rain makes Basin Campground a reasonably wet location; most of the rain falls during November while February is frequently the driest month. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Basin Campground; Ridge Trail is a perfect local trail; while you're here, you could also go to charming Sargent Lake. Basin Campground, so little time. A day at Endicott Park Beach close to Basin Campground is time well spent, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Col Trail. Go for a hike on the Rattlesnake Trail; Opechee Bay Tract is a good forest area nearby. The welcoming environment
and all the tremendous passtime activities have folks coming here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. One of the best things about Basin Campground is its proximity to Gilford Beach, and Jewett Brook is near Basin Campground and is always a bliss to stop at.
But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the White Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Pasture Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Lake View Golf Club. At Basin Campground exciting stuff to do is abundant, and it is a delightful escape from the mundane. This campground
is a perfect spot to go to. Don't forget to go to Dixon Point if you're here at Basin Campground; a splendid location like Bear Brook State Park is too wonderful to leave out. Loads of folks camp here in order to be in close proximity to Endicott Park Beach. This spot rules,
just check out all the exciting things to do in the neighborhood of Basin Campground. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lochmere Golf & Country Club is in the vicinity, and there's whitewater on Merrimack River for all you adrenaline kick people. All the tremendous
local attractions close at hand and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back time and again. As if Basin Campground wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, playing golf, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is
likely to happen. If you're dropping by Basin Campground from Belmont, you won't be the only one; Avery Dam is not far at all from Basin Campground. Coming to this campground is always a perfect idea. Laconia Country Club is a pleasant golf course close by.
