For the duration of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Augusta - Gardiner Koa. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Augusta - Gardiner Koa nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This is such a fun place for a campground. Since you're here at Augusta - Gardiner Koa why not visit Reed Rock, and
    you are close to Southard Point since you're here.
There's so much to do near Augusta - Gardiner Koa, and it positively is a pleasant campground. Augusta - Gardiner Koa is a very popular campground with campers from Richmond.
If you come at the right time of year, Cathance
River offers some wonderful whitewater, and Peacock Beach State Park is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit.
The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are tremendous reasons to come. Some people camp here to be right next door to Peacock Beach State Park. Augusta - Gardiner Koa is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain; September is the month with the least moisture.
