But there are nice ski trails for young ones and novices as well; 90% of the ski trails are green and blue.   If by chance you're trying to find a type II-IV whitewater part to raft, you're in luck; the West Rockport to Warren segment is a good 11.5-mile-from-beginning-to-end piece of Oyster River. Overall this part of Oyster River is a cool spot for paddling. Don't go paddling prior to first checking current conditions; it's treacherous business.
