Now owned and operated by Francis Foster since 2001. The park is located on 40 acres with mature trees throughout. We have 135 RV sites, seven rental cabins, 2 laundry rooms, bathhouse, game room, swimming pool with concessions, peddle boats, mini golf, nature trail and fishing pond. Our clubhouse offers a comfortable setting for your family reunion or club meeting. Our friendly staff will be happy to direct you to area     attractions such as CAJUN MUSIC or any of several CAJUN RESTAURANTS located nearby. We offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates. Chicot State Park is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit, and you'll meet a lot of people from Chataignier here. High temperatures at Cajun Campground throughout the summertime months are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime   the highs are ordinarily in the 50's while Cajun Campground nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Miller Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. A great deal of precipitation falls at Cajun Campground; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is April.
