so much fun. There's absolutely no way to run out of enjoyable stuff to do close to Lake Linville; camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a great site to do that. You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Lake Linville is one of those close by, and Lake Linville is in
the vicinity of Daniel Boone National Forest which is a wonderful place. Some activities here at Lake Linville are swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so almost certainly you want to stay for a while. The positive surroundings and all the enjoyable stuff to
do are reason enough to come here. This is a glorious campground. There are plenty of folks from Mount Vernon here at Lake Linville, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Rockcastle River. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Cumberland Plateau Mountains is
peerless! There is a wonderful hiking trail near Lake Linville called the Cane Creek Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Silver Creek. This campground is so glorious. While you're here at Lake Linville you can take a hike along the Bee Rock Trail. Now, you may think that's
loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A trip to Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area is worthwhile, and when you're here it's always fun to explore General Burnside Island State Park. Lake Linville gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most while October is typically the driest month.
