This is a great campground. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Taking a little tour to close by Cumberland Point is a splendid idea, and you can go for a hike on the Deer Loop. A campground like this is too great to miss. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cumberland River - Big South Fork, and at Cumberland Camping you always meet someone from Monticello.
Cumberland Camping is an old favorite with folks in Monticello. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in close proximity to Cumberland Camping. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Cumberland River - Little South Fork; Lake Cumberland State Resort Park is a wonderful location to go.
