Get yourself into a kayak and hit Raccoon River, and a lake close by is Goose Lake. Ok, you've been cooped up too long; Hilltop Acres in Iowa is such a nice site.
So many local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is playing golf, swimming, whitewater paddling, |
and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Soldiers Creek, and some of the water close by flows, like East Fork Hardin Creek. Iowa is a nice site for campers. Hilltop Acres gets a typical amount of rain; June is the wettest
| month with most rain, and the driest month is January.
If you come at the right time of year, Lizard Creek - SouthBr. offers some glorious whitewater, and a spree here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Spring Lake County Park. There is so much cool stuff to do near Hilltop Acres; it's one of those sites where everything is nice.
This is such a great campground. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Seven Oaks is close to Hilltop Acres, and enjoy a round of golf at Raccoon Bend Golf Club.

are a great attraction for a lot of people. This is a popular spot for people from Jefferson, and a splendid place like Springbrook State Park is too perfect to leave out. Loads of people stay at this campground in order to be close to Spring Lake County Park.
