Des Moines KOA, Iowa Custom Search   I have visited this campground on numerous trips through Iowa. I have found the staff very helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the store was well stocked. I look forward to my visits to Des Moines West because of the great service they provide. There are tremendous tent sites here where you could raise that tent of yours;       naturally there are showers at this campground. Bring your fishing hat in view of the fact that the fishing is great at Des Moines KOA. Do take your doggie to Des Moines KOA in view of the fact that you are permitted to take pet animals.   Des Moines KOA has a playground, so your children may play, and there are nice comfortable cabins here. At the close by supermarket you may discover anything you require, and there are RV hookups for your RV here. You are allowed to have a fire at this campground, and at the store you may purchase required items. In the laundromat you may launder your socks; obviously you could hit upon a glorious swimming pool here, so you could swim a few laps. Golf can       be played at Woodward Golf Club, and you'll hit upon a wonderful lake called Bays Branch Lake. For all you bowlers, Adel Family Fun Center is a glorious bowling alley next to Des Moines KOA. Playing golf is lots of fun at River Valley   Golf Course, and a game of bowling is cool at nearby Warrior Lanes. People from Minburn love to come to Des Moines KOA; a day on the slopes of Seven Oaks is just what you need. If you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Hillcrest Country Club, and a fine site like Ledges State Park is too nice to leave out. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Des Moines KOA has to offer.   AMENITIES Tent camping is available - Lush green grass tent sites! RV hookups are available - 67 RV hookups - All pull thru, full hook-up sites! Pets are allowed - Must be leashed, very well behaved and CLEAN UP AFTER THEM!
