Walnut Woods State Park is worth
| stopping at if you're at Adventurland Campground; lots of people from Altoona come here. A trip to Adventurland Campground wouldn’t be complete without a spree to nearby Lake Ahquabi State Park, and do go to Hickory Lake, it's a pretty lake. This is such a delightful campground. A golf course near Adventurland Campground is Copper Creek Golf Course; whitewater paddling is fine on Raccoon River. An afternoon playing golf at Grand View Golf Club is always a delight, and paddling on White Breast Creek is so much fun.
