You could also visit Clyde Young Lake while you're here at Young's Lake; it's nearby; when you're here it's always fun to stop at Delabar Park State Park. Through the days of summer highs here at Young's Lake reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place |
gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Young's Lake. The delightful selection of local attractions, and such a delightful variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came.
This is really a brilliant campground. Here at Young's Lake there are
| plenty of folks from Kirkwood; nice skiing awaits you at Ski Snowstar. Scores of folks stay at this campground in order to be right next door to Delabar Park State Park.
There are so many entertaining things next to Young's Lake, and loads of folks love to come here to get away.
Famous Illinois generosity and the attractiveness of the spot makes the tour here worthwhile. From a rain point of view Young's Lake is a reasonably typical site; July is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Not far from Young's Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Clyde Young Lake Dam, and Argyle Lake State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit. You really shouldn't spend too much time indoors; you have to get out of the house sometimes, and Young's Lake is a fine local campground if you happen to be in Illinois.
