Cahokia RV Parque, Illinois

| | We spent a couple of nights at the Cahokia RV Parque recently and we were very satisfied. The location is off of a main road (IL 3) which makes it noisy, but easily accessible. The park is very close to downtown STL; about 5 miles. It is in a commercial area, close to East St. Louis, but we felt secure and comfortable. Though small and tightly spaced like most city RV parks, it is well kept. The only two complaints we had was the lack of cable TV and free WiFi. were very helpful, courteous and accommodating. We were at first hesitant based on a previous review, but was surprised to be greeted and helped by some of the best parks staffers I have met. We looked at two other RV parks in the STL downtown area, and Cahokia Parque was easily

Whitewater paddling is perfect on Mississippi River, and swamps like Cahokia Slough next to Cahokia RV Parque make for good sites to stop at. An average amount of rainfall falls at Cahokia RV Parque; May is when you get the most rain here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Cahokia RV Parque tend to be in the 10's.
If you have a thing
about the outdoors, you'll love Cahokia RV Parque. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Glen Echo Country Club, and hey, Dead Creek is a pleasant local stream. The snow is good at Hidden Valley. An afternoon playing golf at Columbia Bridges Golf Course is always a
bliss, of course you could also explore Lily Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
This campground is a brilliant spot to go to. A trip to Castlewood State Park when you're here at Cahokia RV Parque is a wonderful idea, and you'll most likely meet some folks from East Saint Louis here.
