Near Bear Branch Campground is a wonderful 4-mile-long stretch       of whitewater on Bear Branch, a grade III, this is the Bridge to Lusk Creek section. This section of Bear Branch is appropriate for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater paddling for some time but who are not yet prepared for   the really dangerous rapids. Of course, whitewater paddling is enjoyable but dangerous; check restrictions prior to departure. Lake Glendale is a pleasant lake close to Bear Branch Campground, and a tour to a close by bowling alley such as Ross Cottom Lanes is always enjoyable.
