Zims Hot Springs, Salmon River Mountains, Idaho

  Zims Hot Springs is a campground that is incredibly prized by the folks from New Meadows. High temperatures at Zims Hot Springs during the long summer days are in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Zims Hot Springs. If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so most likely you want to stay a while. Zims Hot Springs is one of the places to camp here in the Salmon River Mountains.
At Zims
    Hot Springs you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May while July is regularly the driest month. This is a magnificent campground. Don't leave Zims Hot Springs without stopping by Cascade State Park.
So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation
are perfect reasons to come. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too nice to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Salmon River, and close by you find the Mill Creek Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. There are so many enjoyable things to do near Zims Hot Springs; spending time at this campground is enormously fun.
All year is a delightful time in the Salmon River Mountains if you adore the outdoors. If you're stopping by Zims Hot Springs from New Meadows,
 
you won't be the only one, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Granite Creek Trail. Famous Idaho hospitality and loads of entertaining things to do have a lot of folks coming here. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Hazard Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Jungle Creek Trail.
A campground like this is too magnificent to miss. Looking for some flowing water? Try Sixmile Creek; going for a hike on the Cottonwood Basin Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Ponderosa State Park is a perfect place to go if you're at Zims Hot Springs, and there's whitewater on Hard Creek for all you adrenaline junkies.
A number of folks stay at this campground in order to be in close proximity to Ponderosa State Park. Camping out certainly is a great thing to do; Zims Hot Springs, Idaho is a nice place for getting out.
This place, Zims Hot Springs, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. Good hiking is available along the Donnelly Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Brundage Mountain. With such a large number of things to do in Idaho you'll never get bored.
