Vista Bay Resort, Bitterroot Range, Idaho   Lots of folks pick this campground so they can go to Farragut State Park. Man, is there a load of enjoyable stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. If you come at the right time of year, Pack River offers some great whitewater, and there's great hiking along the Green Mountain Trail. For the duration of the summertime at Vista Bay Resort highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Coeur d'Alene River - Little North Fork, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Upper Declaration Trail. Float down the rapids of Pack River in a kayak, and if you're dropping by from Bayview, you won't be the only one. Farragut State Park is a good place, and Old Doe Draw is another good location to stop at close by. This is really a delightful campground. A spree to Round Lake State Park revives the spirit, and why not visit Scenic Bay also while you're here. Famous Idaho welcome and all the entertaining things to do have many people coming here. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Gotta ski! Schweitzer is a great place to do that; Vista Bay Resort is right by the Independence Creek National Recreation Trail. Idaho is a brilliant site for campers. Vista Bay Resort is enormously popular with folks in Bayview. A pleasant journey to The Old Maids Clearing is a good way to spend an afternoon; wonderful hiking is available along the Leiberg-Athol Trail.
