If you're interested in     hydro structures, you can explore Upper Salmon Falls Dam, and while you're here, you could visit Riley Creek. Around Thousand Springs Resort you don’t get a lot of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snake River, and if time allows, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth visiting. While popping by this region in Idaho it's a great idea to go for a camping trip too. The personnel that controls this campground and all the exciting things to do are rather impressive.
