While you're here at Shafer Butte, you could also go to picturesque Lake Elmore, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River.
This part of Idaho has a magnificent deal of outdoors activities on hand. Summertime at Shafer Butte arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, regularly in the 50's. |

Country Club.
The smiling folks of Boise City-Nampa like to hang out nearby, and if you're here and you like golf, you can visit Boise Ranch Golf Course. Around Shafer Butte you don’t get a lot of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month.
