River's Edge is often visited by folks from Lava Hot Springs. The friendly surroundings and the perfectly taken care of facilities makes the tour here worthwhile. Finally, the time to go camping is here once more, and River's Edge is a pleasant local campground if you happen to be in Idaho. One of the overriding highlights of the surroundings of River's Edge is Mount Moh, and let's not forget Dempsey Creek which is a stream that you may run into during your stay. |

You can run the rapids of Portneuf River near River's Edge, and a round of golf at nearby Lava's Thunder Canyon Golf & Country Club is a nice way to kill some time. All through the long summer days at River's Edge temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
| During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at River's Edge temperatures descend to the 10's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! nice campground. Head up to Pebble Creek and strap some skis to your feet, and there are plenty of people from Lava Hot Springs here. Bear River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of River's Edge, and Beach Hollow is definitely a perfect place to take a look at. This
part of Idaho has a pleasant deal of outdoors activities offered. River's Edge gets very little rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. So many local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.
