Loads of people stay at River Side so they can go to Eagle Island State Park. The fine people who manage this site and the ably kept up facilities are pretty incredible.

Trail, and do take a look at Threemile Creek since you're here at River Side. This is a glorious campground. There's whitewater on Payette River for all you thrill seekers, and a spree to Eagle Island State Park is a great idea. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time
| here at River Side. Do go to Lake Elmore in the vicinity of River Side, it's a delightful lake, and Indian Lakes Public Golf Club is a tremendous golf course nearby.
At River Side through the summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's while River Side night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. River Side is a very popular campground with the people from Boise. You can run the rapids of Mores Creek close to River Side, and playing golf is lots of fun at Hillcrest Country Club.
River Side is a location that is rather arid typically; all through the month of November you get the most rain around
here; the driest of the months is July. There are so many cool things right next door to River Side, and it is a fun site for everybody. This campground is so glorious. Bogus Basin has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff.
A round of golf at nearby Boise Ranch Golf Course is a good way to kill some time, and a spree to Lucky Peak State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
