| | Idaho is a good location for outdoors folks. All the splendid local attractions in the neighborhood and such a large number of things to do will absolutely have you coming back over and over. Lake Elmore is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and in the neighborhood of Rainbow Point you discover a golf course called Indian Lakes Public Golf Club.
Eagle Island State Park is a good spot, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Threemile Creek. If you're popping by Rainbow Point from Boise City-Nampa, you won't be the only one, and glide down |
the rapids of Grimes Creek in a kayak.
Alright, the time is here for a camping trip, don't you agree? Rainbow Point, Idaho is a good location for getting out. A number of folks stay here to be in the neighborhood of Eagle Island State Park. Everybody loves Lucky Peak State
| Park, and there's tremendous hiking along the Hulls Gulch Nature Trail.
This is such a pretty campground. While you're here at Rainbow Point you can play some golf at Boise Ranch Golf Course, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Mores Creek. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Rainbow Point, high temperatures generally get into the 90's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Rainbow Point dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. | |

There's more to do next to Rainbow Point other than just hanging out such as fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, playing golf, and hiking, so you won’t get bored.
That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Rainbow Point has it all. There's no such thing as
a bad day of skiing at nearby Bogus Basin; paddling on Payette River is so much fun. Around Rainbow Point you don’t get a lot of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. Rainbow Point is a very popular campground with folks
of Boise.
This campground is always a diversion. Enjoy a round of golf at Hillcrest Country Club not far from Rainbow Point.
The helpful operators of the campground and the prettiness of the location are pretty extraordinary. There are so many exciting things near Rainbow Point, and you always have a good time when you're here.
