Ponderosa State Park, Salmon River Mountains, Idaho

  A visit to Idaho is not complete without some camping. This place, Ponderosa State Park, it just has so much outdoors fun stuff. Everybody loves Ponderosa State Park, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Louie Lake Trail. The great local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are pleasant motives to come. Ponderosa State Park gets very little rainfall; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest.
You really can't be in a building every day; you have to get out now and then, and Ponderosa
    State Park in Idaho is a delightful place to go. Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Cascade State Park is a glorious place to go if you're at Ponderosa State Park. This campground has so much entertaining stuff to
offer. Payette River - North Fork is a delightful whitewater spot near Ponderosa State Park, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Donnelly Trail.
Yeah, come up here to the Salmon River Mountains for a good time. If you're popping by Ponderosa State Park from Donnelly, you won't be the only one, and the Boulder Lake Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. The personnel who's always there to be of assistance and the competently maintained facilities are reasonably mind-boggling. There is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Ponderosa
 
State Park called the Boulder Driveway Trail, and Tamarack has good slopes and a friendly staff.
All through the warm days of summer highs here at Ponderosa State Park reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's; night lows at Ponderosa State Park through the winter commonly dip into the 0's.
Ponderosa State Park is a top selection campground with the folks of Donnelly. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always lovely.
There's so much to do in close proximity to Ponderosa State Park, and it unquestionably is a delightful campground. Some of the things you can do here at Ponderosa State Park are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so almost certainly you want to stick around for a while. Several folks camp here for the purpose of being in the neighborhood of Ponderosa State Park.
A wonderful site for whitewater paddling close to Ponderosa State Park is Payette River - North Fork; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Jungle Creek Trail.
