Finally, the time is right for camping again, and North Fork Store is a tremendous local campground if you happen to be in Idaho. There's no way to run out of exciting stuff to do close to North Fork Store; it is a tremendous escape from the mundane.
This is truly a great campground. While you're here at North Fork Store you can take a hike along the Moose Creek Trail, and you can go for a hike on the Ax Park Way. Camping in Idaho is such a fun |
thing to do. North Fork Store is an old favorite with the residents of North Fork.
North Fork Store is to be found in the Bitterroot Range. What a place this is for outdoors people. Take a side trip to Fourth of July Creek, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the
| Brushy Gulch Trail.
Bitterroot National Forest is both great and lovely, and it's close to North Fork Store; going for a hike on the Hornet Creek Trail is always a great adventure. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Bitterroot Range. A lake close by is Cummings Lake; folks from North Fork love to come here.

Mountain, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Panther Creek. Near North Fork Store you come across tremendous sites like Maxwell Gulch, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Daly Creek Trail.
Among the things you can do near North Fork Store are fishing,
hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's not possible to get bored. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range, not enough time. You can run the rapids of Salmon River near North Fork Store, and Painted Rocks State Park is a glorious spot to take a look
at on a pretty day.
All the good local attractions in the neighborhood and so much stuff to do will make you happy you came. Through the summer at North Fork Store highs are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to North Fork Store.
