Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Going for a hike on the Green Mountain Trail is always a great adventure, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Schweitzer is reasonably near.
