Heyburn State Park, Clearwater Mountains, Idaho

| | All through the summer at Heyburn State Park temperatures are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Heyburn State Park during the winter generally drop into the 20's. Hiking along the White Pine Scenic Drive is wonderful fun, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Spokane River. Heyburn State Park gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is July.

and all the cool stuff to do are rather inspiring. Heyburn State Park is a delightful place to stretch your legs a bit, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Maries River. As long as you go for the outdoors
| you will go for Idaho.
You really shouldn't spend too much time indoors; you have to get out of the house once in a while, and Heyburn State Park in Idaho is a magnificent place to go. This campground is so nice. Heyburn State Park is not the only site nearby, Chatcolet Lake is a nearby lake; nearby you find Plummer Peninsula. All the nice local attractions in the vicinity and the close by outdoors recreation will make you glad you came.

Caribou Ridge National Recreation Trail; the top of Shoeffler Butte is easily spotted from Heyburn State Park. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so almost certainly you want to stay a while.
