The welcoming personnel and the capably looked after facilities makes the trip here worthwhile. Among the things you can do near Henrys Lake State Park are fishing, swimming, playing golf, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stick around for a while. If you're dropping by Henrys Lake   State Park from Garden City, you won't be the only one, and why not take a little trip to Freestone Creek if you're here. The wonderful choice of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. This campground is so glorious. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bogus Basin; Hulls Gulch is close at hand, and is a glorious place. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Falcon Crest Golf Club, and get wet paddling on Payette River. Henrys Lake State Park is pretty waterless regularly; most of the rain falls all through November, and July on the other hand is the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Paddling on Grimes Creek is so much fun, and golf can be played at Warm Springs Golf Club.
