| | It's just not possible to run out of cool things to do near Helende; to be at this place is great fun any time. A lot of folks stay here to have a look at nearby Eagle Island State Park.
Going for a hike on the Hulls Gulch Nature Trail is always a good adventure, and enjoy a round of golf at Plantation Country Club. Everybody must go for a camping trip now and then, and Helende in Idaho is just the site. At this campground you will always have a perfect time. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to
happen. If you are in Idaho during camping season, you ought to go camping.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Grimes Creek, and when you're here it's always fun to stop by Eagle Island State Park. At Helende you don’t see much rainfall;
the month with most of the rain is November, and July is the month with the least moisture. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Bogus Basin, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Mores Creek.
While you're here at Helende you can play some golf at Hillcrest
Country Club; Lucky Peak State Park is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit. Helende is enormously well prized by visitors from Boise.
