| | Quite a lot of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Helende; when you're here you're always having a nice time. This is such a wonderful campground. Near Helende you find a golf course called Hillcrest Country Club, and Grimes Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by.

attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bogus Basin; the Hulls Gulch Nature Trail offers hiking at its best.
There's more to do near Helende other than just hanging
| out such as fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, hiking, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Threemile Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and Lake Elmore is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Helende is a location that is rather dry typically; most of the rain falls through November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

You clearly must like Helende. Paddling on Mores Creek is so much fun; a golf course close by is Indian Lakes Public Golf Club. In the event that you don’t have
a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Payette River, and while you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Plantation Country Club. With so many things to do in Idaho you'll never get bored.
A great spot like Lucky Peak State Park right
next door to Helende is too great to leave out, and you'll meet a lot of people from Boise City-Nampa here. High temperatures at Helende through the long summer days are in the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Helende temperatures sink to the 10's.
