There are glorious tent sites here where you can set up that camp site, and naturally there are showers at this campground. You are allowed to have a fire at this campground, and just like all perfect campgrounds this one also has a swimming pool where you can go for a great dip. The young ones won't get bored at Fort Running Bear, there are kid's activities, and in case you like boating you're in luck, boating is pleasant here. Fort Running Bear is a great
 
    locality for RV-ing, and there is a supermarket in the vicinity where one can buy groceries.
In the laundromat you may wash your pants, and there is a game room for keeping yourself entertained. Hope you love fishing, the fishing
 is nice . Do bring those old cats, pet animals are permitted, and if you love comfort, there are perfect cabins here.
You find the 10-mile-long Anderson Ranch Dam to Danskin Bridge section of Boise River - South Fork close by; this is a type I-II whitewater section. Whitewater paddlers on this section of Boise River - South Fork don’t need a lot of practice in whitewater kayaking and rafting. Don't ignore to check current conditions before you go whitewater
 
    kayaking and rafting to guarantee your safety. If you're trying to find a marina, Fall Creek Resort and Marina is in the vicinity. Going to Three Island Crossing State Park right next door to Fort Running Bear is a great thing to
  do; you don’t have to go far from Fort Running Bear to catch a sight of the water at Little Camas Dam. This is such a pretty campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Anderson Ranch Reservoir. You'll meet a lot of folks from Mountain Home here, and while you're here, you could pop by Cat Creek. Have a good hiking adventure along the Roaring River Trail.

Pets are allowed - Pets must be leashed.  Owners must pick up and dispose of pet waste.
Campfires are allowed - By Permission. Summer fire danger and high winds determine campfire.  We have only one fire pit in the tent camping area.  No open fires permitted on any sites which touch the ground.  Self-contained fire pits are allowed.

Boating - Boating at Anderson Ranch Reservoir, less than 10 miles
