| | This is a beautiful park that has terraced camping pads nestled in the side of a foothill on wolf bay. The spots are pretty tight and we barely had room to park our Suburban in our site (but we were one of the highest ones and those are smaller). They do have pull thrus as well. The pool wasn't huge but was adequate and not too crowded. They do have two hot tubs as well next to the pool. The 18 hole golf course leaves quite a bit to be desired. They charge $1.00 per person to play but it's in very sad condition and not worth even a buck in my opinion |
to play. My kids (7 and 2) however had fun just hitting the ball around. Says Russ668

A great sight of lovely Tubbs Hill is available from Coeur D' Alene Koa; Independence Point is very near and is a great spot to have a look at. This campground is always a joy. You'll meet a lot of people from Coeur D Alene here, and a brilliant location close by is French Gulch.

always fun to go to Farragut State Park; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Sanders Beach. The yearly rainfall here at Coeur D' Alene Koa is about average; December is when you get the most snow here; July on the other hand is the driest. All the outdoors exciting
things near Coeur D' Alene Koa will keep you coming back many times. An afternoon playing golf at The Coeur D'Alene Resort Golf Course is always a delight, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Silver Beach.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Coeur D' Alene
Koa with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Coeur D' Alene Koa dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Spokane River, and the slopes of Mt. Spokane
are so inviting nobody can resist. This is such a fun spot for a campground. You can run the rapids of St. Maries River in the vicinity of Coeur D' Alene Koa, and a golf course nearby is Coeur D'Alene Public Golf Club.
So much amusing stuff in the Bitterroot Range, just mind-blowing.
Fernan Creek is close to Coeur D' Alene Koa and is always a joy to take a look at; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the English Point National Recreation Trail.
