| | This is a beautiful park that has terraced camping pads nestled in the side of a foothill on wolf bay. The spots are pretty tight and we barely had room to park our Suburban in our site (but we were one of the highest ones and those are smaller). They do have pull thrus as well. The pool wasn't huge but was adequate and not too crowded. They do have two hot tubs as well next to the pool. The 18 hole golf course leaves quite a bit to be desired. They charge $1.00 per person to play but it's in very sad condition and not worth even a buck in my opinion |
to play. My kids (7 and 2) however had fun just hitting the ball around. Says Russ668

Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. Coeur D' Alene Koa is close to Heyburn State Park which is a pretty place, and nearby you find the English Point National Recreation Trail which is a fine hiking trail.

of the summer at Coeur D' Alene Koa temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Coeur D' Alene Koa. This campground is so delightful. On a good day it's
a fine idea to spend the day at Sanders Beach, and there are good sites to look at along the Leiberg-Athol Trail.
If you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Coeur D'Alene Public Golf Club; hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Spokane is a fine place to do that. The surroundings
of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. The good folks of Coeur D Alene like to hang out nearby; don't forget to stop at Independence Point while you're here. You definitely ought to go for the Bitterroot Range. Going for a hike on the Caribou Ridge National
Recreation Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and at Coeur D' Alene Koa you can catch a sight of Tubbs Hill.
But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Coeur D' Alene Koa. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like The Coeur D'Alene Resort Golf
Course, and you can run the rapids of Spokane River. This place, Coeur D' Alene Koa, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Why not go to close by Fernan Creek if you're here at Coeur D' Alene Koa; a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is St. Maries River.
