| | You're sure to run into some fine folks from Idaho Falls here, and don't leave Buttermilk without first going for a hike along the Portneuf Presto Trail. This campground is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackfoot River, and hey, Gotta ski right? Kelly Canyon is a great place to do that. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Buttermilk. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Buttermilk temperatures dip to the 0's. very popular campground among folks of Iona. It is very dehydrated here at Buttermilk regularly; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. There's so much stuff to do next to Buttermilk, and to be at this place is magnificent fun any time.
| If spending too much time indoors got you down, No need to worry; Buttermilk in Idaho is precisely the place. A nice swamp close to Buttermilk is Hodges Slough, and get soaked paddling on Blackfoot River. Some activities here at Buttermilk are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of amusing things to do won’t happen. With so much stuff to do in Idaho you'll never get bored. The brilliant variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are magnificent reasons to come. The folks who care for the campground and the competently kept up facilities beat anything. | |
