The pleasant staff and the good quality of everything here will make you feel glorious. The glorious variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back persistently. Big Elk gets very little rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. At Big Elk all through the summer months highs are in the 80's. |
Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Big Elk dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. It's been too much time since you went outside, and Big Elk in Idaho is such a wonderful location.
| Big Elk is very popular with folks from Idaho Falls. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blackfoot River, and what would winter be without some skiing at Kelly Canyon. Teton River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and the wonderful people of Idaho Falls like to hang out close by. There's absolutely no way to run out of enjoyable stuff to do near Big Elk; it's one of those locations where everything is wonderful. This is such a fun location for a campground. Idaho is a wonderful outdoors state. | |
