| | The personnel that runs this campground and all the cool stuff are relatively extraordinary. Amanita is typically a pretty dry site; most of the rain falls through November, and July on the other hand is the driest. There are so many enjoyable things to do in the vicinity of Amanita, and it's always fun being here. If you're visiting Amanita from Boise City-Nampa, you won't be the only one; if you come at the right time of year, Mores Creek offers some great whitewater.
There's no way to get bored in Idaho if you go for the outdoors. Threemile Creek is |
a nice local stream; Eagle Island State Park is both wonderful and beautiful. It's very unhealthy to be inside all the time; you've got to get out of the house every now and then, and Amanita in Idaho is a great selection.
Such a good pick of attractions and so much to do will
| make you glad you came. Enjoy a round of golf at Hillcrest Country Club not far from Amanita, and a day on the slopes of Bogus Basin is just what you need. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things right next door to Amanita. If you're here at Amanita and you like golf, you can stop by Indian Lakes Public Golf Club, and get soaked paddling on Payette River.
Some activities here at Amanita are playing golf, fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do.

Gulch Nature Trail; Plantation Country Club is a delightful golf course nearby. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. When you're here at Amanita it's always fun to check out Lucky Peak State Park.
This campground is a good place to stop at. Glide down the rapids
of Grimes Creek in a kayak, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Lake Elmore is one of those close by. Summertime highs at Amanita typically tend to be in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Amanita.
Lots of people camp here for the purpose of being near Eagle Island State Park.
