Alpine Park, Idaho   Alpine Park is extremely well prized by campers from Sagle. Murphy Slough is a perfect local stream; if you come at the right time of year, Priest River offers some great whitewater. There's more to do next to Alpine Park other than just hanging out such as playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so perhaps you want to stay a bit. An average amount of rain falls at Alpine Park; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is when it's the driest. A campground like this is too great to miss. Take a hike on the Green Mountain Trail, and     glide down the rapids of Pack River in a kayak. Murphy Bay is right next door to Alpine Park and is a nice site to go to; Alpine Park is right by the Leiberg-Athol Trail. This is a great campground. Get drenched paddling on Pack River, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Upper Declaration Trail.
