Good hiking is available along the Duncan Ridge Trail, and paddling on Etowah River is so much fun. Outdoors folks generally like this sector of Georgia. to run out of amusing things to do right next door to Whispering Pines Campground; spending time at this campground is incredibly enjoyable. Whispering Pines Campground frequently gets a lot of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October
is frequently the driest month. This is a great campground. You'll meet a lot of people from Morganton here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Whispering Pines Campground; Black Mountain Trail is a tremendous local trail. Summertime highs at Whispering Pines Campground
mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Whispering Pines Campground.
