The good local attractions and such a large number of things to do will undeniably have you coming back repeatedly. This campground is so perfect. Going for a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Paddling on Little John Creek is so much fun, and a great place like Unicoi State Park is too perfect to leave out. Turner Campsites is a wet site |
that gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is frequently the driest month. This section of Georgia has a good deal of outdoors activities at your disposal. This is a perfect campground. There is a delightful
| hiking trail next to Turner Campsites called the DeSoto Falls Trail, and Clear Lake Dam has brilliant water scenery. Turner Campsites is an old favorite with folks of Cleveland. The welcoming staff and the admirably taken care of facilities makes the trip here worthwhile. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Chattahoochee River; the Chattahoochee Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. Ok, the time is here for a camping trip, wouldn't you agree? is a really good place to spend some time. There's more to do near Turner Campsites other than just hanging out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so most likely you want to stay a while. Lots of folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being in the neighborhood
of Unicoi State Park. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always picturesque. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and visiting Chattahoochee National Forest is a nice thing to do. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Get
wet paddling on Mud Creek, and you're sure to encounter some good folks from Cleveland here. For the period of the summertime months at Turner Campsites highs are typically in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are
regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Turner Campsites dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. There are so many exciting things in the neighborhood of Turner Campsites, and it's always fun to be here. Having a great time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is trouble-free.
If the weather is nice here at Turner Campsites, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and you can distinguish Leadpole Mountain from Turner Campsites.
