Trackrock Campground & Cabins, Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia
|
| | Trackrock Campground and Cabins is a 300 acre paradise of meadows, hayfields, and woodlands in the shadow of Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest point. Completely isolated from all other commercial developments, the property is bordered on three sides by National Forest. Great care is taken to preserve the natural environment. Wildlife, flowers, and flowering shrubs are abundant throughout the campground and surrounding area.
There are 95 level, shaded, uncrowded campsites with water and electricity. Some sites are pull-through, and about half have |
sewer hookups as well. Bath houses located in the camping area are kept spotless and are equipped with hot showers.
One and two bedroom cabins are available for those who prefer not to camp. The cabins are fully furnished, including kitchens, and have covered porches, picnic
| tables and grills.
The office and recreation building, or Talking House (guests just naturally seem to congregate there in the evenings) also offers a laundry facility, ice, firewood, and LP gas.
Trackrock, opened in 1966, is still owned and operated by its founders, the Alexander family. Their personal interest in their guests - along with the unique beauty and facilities of Trackrock - brings you back time after time. So come with your family to Trackrock and enjoy the special hospitality of the Alexanders and the most relaxing, refreshing | |

A recent reaction to camping at Trackrock!
“Dear Alexander Family,
We just got home last night from an absolutely wonderful
weekend at your campsite. We had a group of four families, and we were all so charmed by your surroundings. Everything was just picture perfect in every way. The weather even cooperated. We all fell deeply in love with Trackrock and want to come back in years to come. We are even
thinking of buying a pop up and storing it there. You really do have a paradise in the mountains. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your land and family tradition with us.
See you next visit.''
