This campground is so good. Terrora Campground is right by the Stewart Trail, and you can run the rapids of Big Panther Creek. Hiking
 
is a popular thing to do around Terrora Campground; Bartram Trail is a good local trail, and while you're here, you could also stop at stunning Lake Rabun.
And that's not all you can do here at Terrora Campground. There's some flowing water nearby, Slaughter Pen Branch is a stream you can have a look at during your stay; Black Rock Mountain State Park is a good site to stretch your legs a bit. There's whitewater on Tallulah River for all you adrenaline people, and why not visit Athens YMCA Camp Dam if you're here. Sky Valley is a very popular ski area close at hand; Tallulah Gorge is beyond doubt a great spot to check out.
Terrora Campground is a campground reasonably frequently visited by the people in Lakemont. Terrora Campground sees pretty high levels of precipitation; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is generally the driest month.
Hiking along the Gage Trail is magnificent fun; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Three Forks Trail.
