Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Talisman Campark tend to be in the 30's. So much cool stuff in the vicinity of Talisman Campark; camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a nice spot to do that. |
This is in fact a wonderful campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Little River, and visiting Oconee National Forest is a perfect thing to do. Near Talisman Campark you find the Scull Shoals Trail which is a good hiking trail;
| there's some interesting stuff to catch a sight of at Upper Carmichael Lake Dam near Talisman Campark. The wonderful local attractions and such a wonderful variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are truly plentiful here at Talisman Campark. There are some nice whitewater spots on Apalachee River; delightful hiking is available along the Twin Bridges Trail. Falling Camp Trail. Talisman Campark is a wet place that gets lots of rain; during March this area sees the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
