Pine Mountain Family Campground, Georgia   I this is one of the cleanest places you will ever stay, particularly the bathrooms. The spaces are far too dense and the management is very easily riled. Not a place for roudy kids or pushing the rules. Says Ray Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Pine Mountain Family Campground reach the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Paddling on Chattahoochee River is so much fun; F.D. Roosevelt State Park is a nice spot. Why not explore Pine Mountain Chalet Lake Dam since you're here, and Mulberry Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flat Shoals River, and lakes are such calm places, why not go to Floyd Lake.
