Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the cool stuff you can do is playing golf, fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so it's impossible to get bored. You beyond doubt have to stop by Oconee National   Forest while you're here at North Shore Resort, and do pop by Town Creek while you're here at North Shore Resort. There are good sites to look at along the Town Creek Bike Trail; Hard Labor Creek State Park is both wonderful and gorgeous. You could also have a look at Lick Skillet Lake since you're here at North Shore Resort; it's close by, and magnificent hiking is available along the Mounds Trail. This location is unbeatable, just check out all the entertaining things to do close to North Shore Resort. Port Armor Country Club is a wonderful golf course close by, and get dripping wet paddling on Apalachee River. If you are in Georgia through camping season, you have to go camping. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River; you'll possibly meet some folks from Greensboro here. This is such a beautiful campground. Go for a hike on the Scull Shoals Trail, and there's splendid hiking along the Falling Camp Trail.
