Leisure Acres Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia   We stayed at this campground in October 2005. It is nice camp ground and very reasonable with the cost. Grounds are well keep and it is neat and orderly. I intend to stay there this coming october. I would recommend it. Says william Zirkel Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Nearby lakes? Sure, Black Lake is close to Leisure Acres Campground; this region is dominated by the Long Mountain. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, you need to get out of the house; Leisure Acres Campground in Georgia is a perfect location     to go. Leisure Acres Campground mostly gets lots of precipitation; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here; October is the month with the least moisture. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always charming. If you come at the right time of year, Little River - East Fork offers some splendid whitewater; hiking along the DeSoto Falls Trail is wonderful fun. This campground is so charming. Don't leave Leisure Acres Campground without first going for a hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and get drenched paddling on Little John Creek. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flat Creek; there's perfect hiking along the Whitly Gap Trail. A visit to Georgia is not complete without some camping. The personnel   who's always there to help out and all the entertaining stuff will make you feel great. Leisure Acres Campground is right by the Chattahoochee Trail; a visit to Unicoi State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Leisure Acres Campground is a top choice with the folks in Clermont. All the outdoors entertaining things in the vicinity of Leisure Acres Campground will keep you coming back time and again. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best; the summit of Long Mountain can be seen from Leisure Acres Campground. Among the things you can do near Leisure Acres Campground are hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so running out of entertaining things to do won’t happen. At Leisure Acres Campground through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Leisure Acres Campground temperatures drop to the 20's. There's such a great deal of things to do in the vicinity of Leisure Acres Campground; it is a fun location for everybody. Several folks choose this campground when going to Unicoi State Park. That right there is plenty of fun things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Chattahoochee National Forest is a tremendous location to stop at on a gorgeous day, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Clermont for sure.
