Leisure Acres Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia   We stayed at this campground in October 2005. It is nice camp ground and very reasonable with the cost. Grounds are well keep and it is neat and orderly. I intend to stay there this coming october. I would recommend it. Says william Zirkel Many folks camp here to be near Unicoi State Park. The high level of rain makes Leisure Acres Campground a quite wet site; the month with most of the rain is March, and October on the other hand is the driest. The splendid pick of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you     came. This camp ground is one of the splendid places to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Leisure Acres Campground is a campground that is incredibly loved by folks in Clermont. If only every spot had this much outdoors fun things, what a great globe it would be. A tour to Leisure Acres Campground wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby Unicoi State Park; there's whitewater on Little River - East Fork for all you adrenaline people. And that's not all there is to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A splendid place like Chattahoochee National Forest near Leisure Acres Campground is too brilliant to leave out, and there are pleasant places to discover along the DeSoto Falls Trail. Long Mountain is painless to spot from Leisure Acres Campground, and the Whitly Gap Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.   If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so running out of enjoyable stuff to do won’t happen. Camping out really is an entertaining thing to do; Leisure Acres Campground in Georgia is such a brilliant site. Quite a lot of fun things to do close to Leisure Acres Campground; when you are here for a while you will feel like a different person. So much cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just astonishing. Leisure Acres Campground is not far at all from Clermont, and if you come at the right time of year, Little John Creek offers some good whitewater. All the smiling folks and the capably operated operations have lots of folks coming here. Near Leisure Acres Campground you hit upon the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a good hiking trail; this is a great location in the shadow of the Long Mountain. A campground like this is too magnificent to miss. Going for a hike on the Chattahoochee Trail is always a tremendous adventure; there are some great whitewater spots on Flat Creek. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Leisure Acres Campground get into the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Leisure Acres Campground plunge into the 20's. This is a magnificent campground. Black Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail.
