Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Oconee Center; Scull Shoals Trail is a tremendous local trail; you're sure to run into some good folks from Eatonton here. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Lake Oconee Center. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Apalachee River, and at Kraft Lake Dam close to Lake Oconee Center there are some attention-grabbing things to see. Glade Branch is a good place to explore, and you can go for |
a hike on the Twin Bridges Trail. Lake Oconee Center commonly gets lots of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Murder
| Creek, and great hiking is available along the Town Creek Bike Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mounds Trail; Oconee National Forest is a great site to stretch your legs a bit. At this campground you will always have a magnificent time. Hard Labor Creek State Park is a stunning spot any time of year. Lake Oconee Center is esteemed by people of Eatonton. nice campground. You truly shouldn't spend too much time in the city; you've gotta get out every so often, and Lake Oconee Center in Georgia is a nice pick. Summertime at Lake Oconee Center comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's.
All through the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Oconee Center. This campground is a delightful location to take a look at. There are some fine whitewater spots on Little River, and Port Armor Country Club is a great golf course close by. The glorious local attractions and such a large number of things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back persistently.
