| | Lake Oconee Center is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks from Eatonton. During the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Lake Oconee Center while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Lake Oconee Center through the wintertime commonly dip into the 30's.
In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Murder Creek, and do take a hike on the Mounds Trail. Lake Oconee Center is a wet |
spot that gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout March, and October is when it's the driest. This is such a glorious campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Scull Shoals Trail, and there's great hiking along the Twin Bridges Trail.

| bad for you to spend all your time indoors; you have to get out of the house sometimes, and Lake Oconee Center is a perfect local campground if you happen to be in Georgia. This campground is so glorious. A great site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Lake Oconee Center is Little River, and if you get bored of Lake Oconee Center you could also stop by nearby Kraft Lake.

Apalachee River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and Oconee National Forest is both wonderful and charming. Quite a lot of entertaining

Glade Branch is a striking stream that is worth a visit. All the brilliant local attractions around here and the brilliant variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back repeatedly.
